I Love Google!

Almost everyday I have a little daydream about being the artist who draws the different 'Google' logo's on top of the search box.

I imagine that it is an extremely well paid job where one's creativity is appreciated, and one's judgement trusted. They have a beautiful home office with inspiring views over London, perfect for when they are working in splendid isolation. I think you probably have to come up with two ideas a day. The first you work on in the morning, the second after lunch and siesta. Thats my daydream anyway.

Just went onto Google, and can you believe the latest image was a Pacman Game. Not just a drawing, but a living breathing working Pacman Game with 3 lives!!!!

My fantasy continues........

Seeing Gordon, Sarah and their boys walking out of Downing Street this evening, left me devastated. Watching Cameron (I refuse to call him Dave) and his wife walking in, made me feel sick.

I was on College Green around midday today, it was packed with faces, old and new. Michael Gove, Neil Kinnock, Michael Portillo, Nick Robinson, John Soppel and fresh from his on-air nervous breakdown -Adam Boulton. There was a carnival atmosphere, it was buzzing. For politic anoreks it was the place to be. I had a real urge to jump infront of the camera and say 'we love you Gordon, hang on in there', but I bottled it. Seems like days ago already.

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have ever doubted the credibility of Sky News, please, I beg you, take a look at this video...

As a West London girl, Wormwood Scrubs is a place I'm familiar with. I've driven past it a million times, know people who've been in and out of it, and had the displeasure of going on a few 'visits'.
For all the above I can't wait to see the documentary on ITV1 tonight.

Hopefully it's more even handed than Jane Simon of the Daily Mirror who has obviously made her mind up already, 'Who'd want to be a prisoner officer? Locked up all day with violent scum the rest of us don't want on our streets'. When did the Mirror get so Daily Mail on us?

For your information Jane, Scrubs is a Category B prison which means it has prisoners who do not require maximum security. It also has a significant number of prisoners on remand; which in this country means they are innocent until proven guilty.

So Cameron says he wants to form a government by Monday, not to grabble up power you understand, but for the good of the country.

Everywhere you turn, someone is bawling out 'the markets' like they're a living breathing creature that could turn on earthlings at any given moment and wipe us off the face of the planet. Sound-bites from people on road who didn't even vote, claiming we need to sort things out pronto to 'calm the markets'. A ninety-year old Tory battleaxe in one of the Shires insisting 'Dave' needs to sieze power expeditiously in order to 'reassure the markets'. Well I don't give a flying f---k about the markets! I'm assuming these are the same markets that we were never going to allow to wield so much power over us ever again?

Look, as the rap pioneers Public Enemy once warned us -'Don't believe the Hype!'. A fortnight ago we were led to believe that Nick Clegg was the new messiah; a year ago that Parliament risked being burned to the ground, such was public anger over the MP's expenses scandal. The truth is the Lib Dems have come out of the election with even fewer seats. And to prove just how unaffected people were by the expenses scandal, not only was the turnout higher than usual, but it was largely the incumbent candidates that were returned.

So, Clegg, take as much time as you need to chat with my man GB, the markets can wait. You've been hoodwinked by the hype once, don't fall for it again...
